Why is rhythm and tempo important?

Ensuring a steady rhythm and tempo throughout your swing routine enhances its consistency and minimizes errors. Any disruptions to this cadence can alter crucial elements like club trajectory and shaft bend, affecting impact timing and face direction, ultimately leading to missed shots.

What is rhythm tempo?

Rhythm corresponds to the time signature (e.g., 2/4, 3/4, 4/4), with no definitive right or wrong choice, especially in triple time. Meanwhile, tempo indicates speed measured in counts per minute. For instance, if the speed is 60 counts per minute (1 count per second), it's denoted as "60 BPM" (Beats Per Minute).

Recommended usage (in a 3-beat scenario):

1. Normal recording
2. Tap the metronome icon while playing back ("nice shot")
3. View two tempo values (same BPM indicates consistent rhythm)
4. If aware of the tempo, activate the metronome and record your swing accordingly
5. Conduct swing checks
6. Train for consistent swings across all clubs
